Why Attend EMWB 2024?
Shape the Future of Human Services
At the annual Economic Mobility & Well-Being Conference (EMWB) produced by the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA), we will bring together opportunities to advance solutions within and across the public and private sectors. The EMWB conference is jointly hosted by three APHSA affinity groups: the American Association of SNAP Directors (AASD), the National Association for Program Information and Performance Measurement (NAPIPM), and the National Association of State TANF Administrators (NASTA).
Our EMWB annual conference brings together those committed to providing and improving human services programs. It is designed to assist human services leaders, policymakers, and researchers in shaping the future of human services programs through collaboration, integration, and
modernization, as well as guidance on how best to monitor quality control and performance management. By bringing policy, practice, research, and a wide array of programs together, we aim to advance our collective goal of assisting all in the achievement of economic mobility and well-being.

APHSA members administer, oversee, and align programs that build resilience and bolster family well-being through access to food, health care, housing, employment, child care, and many other key building blocks necessary for thriving communities. Our members also work to modernize and align human services Information Technology (IT) systems, performance measurement and data analysis, workforce development and training, and the legal dimensions of the sector.
